After two people were burned to death inside a hut in Vosman early on Sunday, July 16, 2023, a 30-year-old woman is due to appear in court on Tuesday, July 18, 2023, on two counts of murder and arson.
According to a report, two people were set on fire at Hlalanikahle in Vosman, and both the police and the paramedics were alerted of the occurrence. When they arrived, it was found that a male (27) and a female (40), had been burned so severely that they were unable to be saved by medical staff.
Investigation by the police immediately began and the said woman was arrested in connection with this incident hence the court appearance.
The investigation into the motive behind this disheartening incident is currently unknown however Domestic Violence cannot be ruled out.
