As part of his learner performance improvement roadshow, the MEC for Education, Mr. Bonakele Majuba will embark on a support visit to Cottondale circuit tomorrow morning, 17 August 2023 at Moses Mnisi Secondary School in Bohlabela District under Bushbuckridge Local Municipality from 09H00.
From the beginning of the 2023 academic year, MEC MAJUBA has convened a number motivational sessions in the four Districts of the Department of Education targeting circuits and schools which obtained a pass percentage below 70% in the 2022 National Senior Certificate Examinations Results.
The primary objective of the motivational sessions is to encourage the current cohort of grade 12 learners to unleash their full potential in order to achieve quality results in the 2023 National Senior Certificate Examinations.
Learners from Sehlakabje, Masingitana, Babinatau, Moses Mnisi, Thepanang, Phendulani and Madizi Secondary Schools are expected to attend tomorrow’s motivational session.
After the motivational session the MEC will proceed to the Word of Life Church to address Circuit Managers, School Principals, Chairpersons of School Governing Bodies and Presidents of the Representative Council of Learners of Bohlabela District on how they can strengthen their working relations in order to enhance the quality of learning and teaching delivery in their respective schools.
The meeting is scheduled to take place at 12H00
