Station’s Profile
Radio BBR started broadcasting on December 16th, 1996 with 18 hours broadcasting license, from 1999 its was then granted a 24-hour broadcasting license to date.
The motto “bringing people together” came about because of Shangaan v/s Mapulana (Sotho) tension in the area of Bushbuckridge.
The station commended using four languages throughout its schedule i.e Sepulana, Shangaan, Swati and English, most of the presenters are multi-lingual and smoothly run from one language to another within their programme.
